Runingland Participates in the 38th Lubrication Technology Forum

From October 23 to 24, 2024, the 38th Lubricant Technology Forum, hosted by PetroChina Lubricant Company and organized by the editorial board of *Lubricant*, was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Nanning. The event brought industry professionals together to witness another thought-provoking exchange on lubricant technology. Centered on the theme "Injecting New Momentum into the Lubricant Industry with New-Quality Productivity," the forum addressed industry challenges, proposed solutions, and explored pathways for high-quality development in the future of the lubricant sector. The event showcased new achievements and directions in Chinas lubricant industry, with Runningland, a professional third-party oil testing company, honored to participate in this distinguished event.


The forum featured twenty keynote reports, exploring the challenges and changes faced by the lubricant industry. The reports covered a wide range of topics, from the synthesis of base oils to the highlights of additive technology, to technical summaries of actual processes, while encompassing cutting-edge technologies and product features from many organizations in their respective fields. Attending this event were representatives from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, American Petroleum Institute (API), Sinopec Lubricant Company, PetroChina Lanzhou Lubricant R&D Center, Chevron Oronite, Infineum, Lubrizol, Cargill Biotech, among others.


In the above mentioned technical reports, alongside in-depth exploration of traditional lubricant technologies, much attention has shifted toward developments in new energy technologies. Electric vehicle technology, advanced heat exchange systems, and the future of new energy technologies have become focal points within the industry. In practical applications, specific products and technical solutions for electric vehicle coolants and heat exchange technology were presented.


To align with the development of new industry technologies, Runningland has added a full suite of testing services for electric vehicle coolants in accordance with the newly released national standard draft for electric vehicle antifreeze. Additionally, for new energy electric vehicles, the company has enhanced its testing offerings based on the relevant standard oil fluid tests. By integrating these with the existing automotive lubricant testing services, Runningland is able to provide customers with more comprehensive, professional, and diverse testing services for automotive lubrication systems.
